The Triaster New Customer Process

Simple, Affordable, Transparent and Flexible


Triaster have produced a completely transparent and flexible process designed to make it as easy as possible for you to determine if Triaster is right for you, and if so, how to adopt it in a way that exactly matches your requirements. There are three phases to this process:

  1. Phase 1 - a no-commitment, free, 90 day hosted evaluation so you can make sure Triaster meets your business needs and you can share your pilot processes with colleagues to gain the necessary support and buy-in. And because Triaster host the solution for you, you do not even need to arrange a server!
  2. Phase 2 - a 12 month period during which we deliver the entire solution to you, with an unrestricted licence to deploy as much or as little of the Triaster software as you choose, at a single capped cost, to get you to the "go-live" position
  3. Phase 3 - you adopt the Triaster agreement that best meets the business needs you have for Triaster's software and services from the position of 15 months of real experience and knowledge

There follows a complete listing of the deliverables and costs associated with each of these phases.

Phase 1 - Hosted Evaluation

The purpose of Phase 1 is to enable you to assess if the Triaster solution meets your business needs.

Cost Duration
There is no cost, this phase is entirely free of charge and commitment. Up to 3 months.
Phase 1 Deliverables
  1. A dedicated Trial Co-ordinator to liaise with you throughout the trial to ensure the trial meets your needs and answers your questions.
  2. A half-day pre-trial planning session, hosted by Triaster, where we work with you to identify the trial processes, answer your initial questions about the solution and plan the capturing workshop.
  3. One day of consultancy in a facilitated workshop, hosted by you or by Triaster, to map out your trial processes and publish them to a (non-branded) Triaster hosted library.
  4. Unrestricted access to the library for staff within your organisation.

Phase 2 - Initial Deployment

The purpose of Phase 2 is to enable you to deploy the full Triaster solution, installed on your own organisation's infrastructure (or Triaster's if we are hosting it for you) and containing your own processes.

Phase 2 Deliverables

Standard delivery package comprising:

  • Up to 8 days of on-site training, workshops, project support, review and governance workshops
  • Up to 6 days of design time
  • Up to 2 days of remote installation and technical support; we will fully manage the installation of our solution on one server
  • Completely unrestricted access to our end-user support and to our full remote server support service
  • Free use of our training centre in Wallingford, UK for public training sessions
Continuity Incentive – the following will be provided in addition to the implementation deliverables (terms apply):
  • A voucher for 8 days of services to be used during the first 2 years
  • A 12 month completely unrestricted Triaster software licence for the employees of your organisation. You can install and use as many copies of our software as you like and on as many servers and desktops as you choose.
  • Triaster Hosting subsidy of £3k during Phase 2 (if Hosted Service is chosen)

Phase 3

The purpose of Phase 3 is to adopt an agreement with Triaster that contains the right level of on-going software and support services to meet your long-term needs.

Cost Duration
This depends on the agreement you select. Agreements start at £10k per annum. Registered charities receive a 20% discount. For as long as you wish.

Phase 3 Deliverables

This depends on the deliverables contained in the agreement you have selected, but will generally be licences, support and on-going services provision.
