How to Save VDX Files by DefaultMarch 7th, 2006 (kb#46) DescriptionProcess Navigator 3 and above require all files to be saved in vdx format (Visio XML Drawing). However, by default, Visio saves files in vsd format (Visio Drawing). If you save a file as a .vsd, the following message will appear:
NOTE: Autosave will also prompt this message if the default save settings have not been changed. It is recommended that autosave is not used. You can turn autosave off in Tools > Options, select the Save tab. SolutionClick OK on the message above and then go to Tools > Options and select the Save tab. Select Visio XML Document as the default format from the drop down list as shown below.
Click OK. Subsequent saves will now be in vdx format. |
